Usually the Lead designer on the project was doing the graphic design of the desktop page. I stepped up at this point, following the styleguide while creating the tablet & mobile versions. Time management was key, I usually had to keep a tight schedule (within 24/48H). The Lead Designer and I worked together and we managed the project with multiple back and forths - from different time zones!
Between 2018 and 2020, I worked as a UI Designer for Haddad & Partners, a US global creativity agency with 100+ employees. I was part of a international team, collaborating with people working from US / UK / Australia / Peru / India... As a link between Lead designers and Dev team, I was in charge of the responsive screens, the technical plans and deliveries for the Devs. I also helped creating the design system on XD, improving the delivery process to developer.

Spectrum - Design implementation
I was a UI Designer for Haddad & Partners for 2 years, the main client I was in charge of was Spectrum (owned by Charter). I also worked for client like Coinstar or Aegis.
My role was to be a link between the lead designers and the dev team, delivering optimized assets and clear technical plans to them as well as keeping an updated stylequide to maintain a good design system.
The main goal was to ensure a better collaborative work and reactivity between team members based all around the globe!
Role - UI Designer
Company - Haddad & Partners
Project duration - 2 years

Assets production & technical plans
I developed a delivery process system shared among all designers.
It consisted on a strict organization of the tasks, with specific folders and naming convention to improve the delivery processes and the archive on Dropbox.
Once the 3 mock-ups were done I was in charge of exporting, naming and optimizing every assets to be sure the whole page would be lighter than 750ko to be accessible to everyone on any devices. I added a copydeck with all the text of the page in a text document.
I was also doing the technical plans (redlines), allowing Devs to see the spaces between elements quickly and win times. Now this is easily done with Zeplin but it gave me good practices.
On a regular basis I was also doing the updates of the mobile and accesories assets for Spectrum Mobile marketplace. This was usually a rush, for ex: right after their keynote Apple would send us all the new products and we had to put them online in the next 12hours.

Design system
Starting by using atomic design I prepared ready-to-use components showing all the interaction needed. These elements are split and organized like Russian Dolls to make the assembly of the components and the page smooth and efficient.
I was constantly updating the styleguide and the components library, displaying the 3 variants (desktop, tablet, mobile). It was diverse, with hero page, list, dropdowns, offers section.
While I was working for H&P we changed our wireframing tools, going from Photoshop to Adobe XD. We had to adapt quickly and rethink some tasks within the team and strongly collaborate to make it work. This change gave me the opportunity to deeply work on the V1 of the Spectrum Design system : all the components had to be translated and adjusted for the new tool.

Multi-state screens
Another task I was in charge of was doing the multi-state screens : error 404, empty input fields, loading... I was also doing the screen step by step for different flows to make sure the Dev Team understood what should be the final result.
Outcomes
These 2 years working for Haddad & Partners were a stepping stone for my career as a UX/UI Designer. This experience taught me a lot about teamwork and reactivity. It allowed me to strengthen my skills with good design practices to respect high standard. It was a pleasure working everyday in English in an international environment.
Enjoy the flow of the final prototype!
